Characterization of NORM facilities is being carried out and some facilities have since received their NORM analysis results. In light of these developments there is need to undertake training and discussions on the requirements as provided by the regulations as well as lay the foundation for regulation (exemption/licensing).
The workshop is key for SHE practitioners, managers and supervisors involved in the implementation of the NORM program, as well as facilities that have been scheduled for characterization assessment and also those that have already undertaken assessments.
